Plant Interview (2023)

Plant Interview was a series of interviews conducted in Chicago Loop to understand human perspectives on the plants in our surroundings. The interviews took place on plant beds along Wabash and Michigan avenues. Passersby were approached and invited to speak on behalf of the plants, responding to plantal(personal) questions about the plants' characteristics, origins, and how they were doing. Participants received no specific instructions on how to answer these questions, except that they have to speak for the plants.
